Tip# 1: I am getting married this year and the light came on that my wedding favors, should not be some dumb ole’ bride and groom type thing, no dumb matches with the wedding date and our names. I am tastefully-if I can afford it-giving back to environment. My favors will involve seeds, and a flower pot just to get them started, then a personal message and the traditional ole’ names and date thingy. Now if the budget does not call for then I may have to go for the useless matches and the useless dinner mints that people eat just because they have them.

Does anyone else have a green wedding tip?

Okay, I give in I need an illustrator and a web genius. I still have not gotten the hang of posting pictures and I need a better background. In school I was taught about plaigerism and although I can’t get expelled from a blog I can still get in legal trouble and I can’t afford that. I wish that I could hold a contest, but I am on a budget, if there is anyone willing to help me get this site where it needs to be with a shaky promise of compensation please contact me immediately. I am of course African American, I am a female, and I want to discuss so many broad topics it is ridiculous. I am working on getting an avatar or a picture, actually a caricature of my image with an afro, although I actually have creamy crack in my hair right now. Natural Stuff

Okay, so one thing about me is I am all about Unity, but I am also about black pride. We need to take back our history, learn who we are and take pride in ourselves… Our true natural selves. *Crickets chirping* Hey, I’m just saying, I had some problems with the perm last year, so my friend/hairdresser suggested that I start over. So I started getting sew ins and I don’t know what got me started on it natural hair websites, but now I am obsessed. Okay I didn’t make it a year on the natural hair journey because I could no longer afford the growing out process, so she decided to go back to, what the Napturals call, the creamy crack. Okay, so my hair ended up being thicker and healthier than it has been since I was a young pre teen, (because after 13 years old, my hair was permanently damaged). I had some good hair days in the past but, I always experienced breakage.

Now I am crazy about going natural again, but the big chop is what freightens me. I am trying to psyche myself up to have short natural hair from the mother land. I have seen so many women walking around holding their head high, but while I was temporarily natural, I couldn’t hold mine up. I am ashamed of my behavior, but it is a work in progress. I try to be the person who doesn’t care what anyone thinks, and who upholds my beliefs strongly, but how can you erase hundreds of years of racism and oppression, and hurt, self hate, and shame. I hope to have a daughter because if she doesn’t learn from me, I will learn through her how to be a strong black woman. I don’t want to put perms in her hair or sizzle her neck with straightening combs.

Though I was weak I have to give a shout out (to people still call it that?) To the website that showed me the light, and helped me in my decision to go natural and eventually go natural one of these days :Nappturality.com, Motowngirl.com, afrobella.com. I really did like how soft my hair was, but it was in shock so I couldn’t enjoy it because there was a lot of small chops here and there that I had to endure to get the perm off of my ends while trying to save as much length as possible. My fiance’ even liked it and that was most important because while I refuse to define my looks by a man’s standard I do value my boo’s opinion, and if he didn’t like it I still would have continued on that journey. I am just glad that he understands the value of going back to our roots……..

Okay, so this blog is a work in progress. I have changed my blog name, but I hope I don’t alienate anyone. I just wanted to say how much of a dork I am I want to show what a random fan I am. I don’t obsess over famous singers and actors and my obsession of the moment out of many, is Kathy Griffin:

“Ms. Kathy first I have to say my mother and I are big fans, you actually are the white version of a lot of my older female cousins. you would fit right in with your bold outspoken ways and your dry dry wit. I have to say though due to the success of your show, you are technically not on the D-list and darn it you have won an emmy. Anyway, if you still feel may I suggest a hair make over. No offense to your ex hubby or your recent hairdresser, but your hair is looking kind of…well frizzy. What happened to the long flowing and stick straight hair of your “Suddenly Susan” days. I think if you fixed that you would shoot straight up to the A-list, or at least B-list because it’s just hard to be taken seriously when you are female and a comedianne, but keep up the good jokes, LAUGHTER IS THE BEST MEDICINE.”

I think that she is a lot like my aunt and my mother and my cousins. I have also returned to being obsessed with the Boondocks cartoon and comics. So haven’t added Kathy, but I did add the Boondocks creater Aaron Mcgruder, he will be on my next deep person post, coming soon, so if I have a following because I do check my stats and I saw some activity….if I have a following please hang in there, I am still working on my blog, I really need help because I need to add pictures and a background I was considering a contest, for a logo and a background and maybe just a blog partner who shares my sense of humor and opinion, many blogs out now are run by more than one person, so if anyone is out there please help!!!…….Lata….

Bible during his sex-abuse trial in Oneida County
Court earlier this year, he swore to tell the whole truth
and nothing but the truth. But as the former Clinton
pastor was sentenced Friday to three years in prison for
inappropriately touching a 7-year-old girl at his
home last March, Judge Michael L. Dwyer said Procanick
sacrificed his honesty (sound familiar???) the day he testified.

Okay, so now that Bill and Hillary Clinton‘s pastor
has been convicted of child molestation, will we see the
same furor directed at Hillary that Obama has had to
endure these last few weeks?

IF A CANDIDATE IS KNOWN BY T H E PASTOR THEY KEEP
……Then you need to email this article to everyone you
know. Here the CLINTON’S Pastor is convicted of child
molestation. So, if Obama bears the guilt for his pastor’s
comments, then Hillary has to be equally tainted by this guy’s
crimes.

Okay, yea that’s supposed to be the title, but what I saw today, just hit me in the face. Okay, you know that Cloverfield movie……well…….. Okay, so there was disaster and chaos and I saw people looting. Okay, uhh……the main ones running out the building were black people. Just once I would like to not see a stereotype of the coloreds. The black girl didn’t get killed the first 5 seconds of the movie. She actually made it to the end, and we do not find out what happened to her , so that’s actually one point for African Americans i
